I uploaded these for someone today and I though I might as well not let them go to waste.
They are the following
-Akuma no Uta (2003)http://www.mediafire.com/?c4lzi9jxyxn
This one is one of my favorite Boris albums. The first song is a doom drone piece, but it leads into a fucking brutal psychedelic garage rock assault, which occasionally goes into the stoner sludge territory. Great album. I warn yout he production values are basically non existent on this album, but I think it benefits the album, others may disagree.
-Feedbacker (2003) http://www.mediafire.com/?8vsgm39ywzm
I haven't given this album a good enough listen yet, but from what I've listened to its pretty damn good, just a straight up shoegaze drone epic in 5 parts.
-Vein (2006) http://www.mediafire.com/?9jn9kowymyx
This is a great example of how eclectic Boris can be. On one album they'll be psych rock then they'll go onto straight avant drone and then the next album will be one of the greatest hardcore albums to come out of Japan in recent years. And that hardcore album is Vein. It starts out with a typical Japanese noise track, which is actually unusual for Boris to open with a non drone song, the noise blast leads into a great track of pure sludgy goodness, but as soon as that song ends a brutal assault of Japanese hardcore that will have fans of Ghoul, Bastard or GISM very pleased. Fast, distorted as hell, and loud, all what hardcore should be. The last song is a 15 minute drone jam, which is typical Boris drone track. This album is one of their best. I warn you again the production is worse than Akuma No Uta, and it sounds like the whole album was put through a Big Muff pedal.
So I hope you enjoyed my terrible reviews, but you should definitely check these albums out, and I guess theres something for everyone who enjoys so me good extreme music.

Kind of Disjointed uploads and reviews, hard to read :<(
I've been searching a lot of other music blogs (actually all of them were punk, and very specific and interesting. I'm going to add a new link section to link you to 'em) and I have noticed that a lot of them are just places to post .zips .rars of music for others to download. I really think this idea is genius, so I'm going to add a feature with this. Don't worry the whole blog wont be devoted to this, but a few posts will include downloadable content. I think I might just start out by posting a few things I have in my mediafire account.
Justice - Cross (2007)
Oh my god. This is possibly the greatest dance record of all time or maybe just the greatest Christian dance album(?) of all time. These guys are on Daft Punks label Ed Banger and holy fuck is it amazing. Hoooly fuck. The best track has to be Waters of Nazareth, I don't think words can describe how amazing and dance-able this song is. Fucking get this if you enjoy Daft Punk or just plain dancey music. Shit this is good.

Last Exit - Self Titled (1984)
Free jazz super group made up of Peter Brotzmann on sax, Sonny Sharrock on Guitar, Bill Laswell on bass, and Ronald Shannon on drums. Its completely improvised, no planning, just sheer free jazz improv. At moments it sounds almost like everything has distortion on it. At their shows they would play as loud as possible, causing many in the audience to leave or complain. This shit is near headache inducing, but in a great way. I recommend staring out with the track Crackin', the first four or so minutes is just slap bass, then Sharrock comes in with some quiet ambiece by playing behind the bridge, then all the sudden Brotzman comes out with the noisiest, shrillest saxophone playing I have ever heard in my life. This shit is loud and annoying, but great.

Neanderthal - Complete Fighting Music Discography
Not much to say about this, besides that its pretty much just Man is the Bastard, but with a more prominent guitar. I believe (if wikipedia is to be trusted, which it isn't actually) that it is just a precursor to Man is the Bastard made up the core members of the said group (Joel Connel and Eric Wood). This is very good early Power Violence. The first song is by far the best song, definitely the best track on the album

I think three is enough. I really recommend ll three of the above albums to just about anyone who enjoys music (well, extreme music for the last two). It would be nice if you would comment if you are going to download, but it is not necessary and there are no passwords.
I think I might take genre requests, like, if you have a band you like and don't know much about other bands with similar sounds you could come to me and I could see if I had anything close. Obviously I'm still trying to get a feel of this blog, so I don't see that working out really, and I can't imagine too many people reading this blog. But hey whatever, its worth a try, amirite?

An Interlude:Post Rock
I am feeling very uncreative tonight. I think I strained them attempting to make a gabber song, which wasn't terrible, but it needs work. I'll give you a link to it when its good.
I was just in a very meh mood tonight, despite the fact that I am going to put out a split CD-R and i should be happy for a number of reasons, but anyway, since I'm feeling meh and I need some un-mehing I thought I would watch some post rock videos on youtube. And lo and behold, I did and now I'm going to share them. I know, its stupid to put these in my blog that I planned on using for creative writing, but fuck you, I don't care, I'm a fucking rebel. So shove it.
A Silver Mt Zion
Mogwai
Envy
maybe I should stop, just maybe. OK, I will. So, maybe next time I decide to write in here it will be interesting and creative, not this lazy bullshit.

My Life Through Music: Part One: The Pre-life and school years
I was raised in a very music rich environment. When I was born the "Grunge" movement was just breaking through and my parents were probably thinking "Oh no". They had been part of the movement before it was dubbed as grunge by the media, back when it was just the northwest version of punk. They knew Kurt Cobain, they worked with Elliot Smith, they drank in front of the Fremont Troll before it was a yuppie tourist attraction. They had been there, done that.
My mother was a punk starting in her teenage years, I don't know much before that, probably just a normal teenager. She influenced her friends and was a very loved woman. I have never heard anyone say a bad word about her. She was punk enough to get forms signed to go to the prom with her best friend as lesbians (her mom was pissseeeed). She was punx.
My father was a mix of things. His dad was an 100% Italian greaser and his mother was a hippie. His sisters had been huge Beatles fans (which caused him, and then me, to hate them). They also participated in the Chicago Democratic Convention Riots in '68(?). I don't know much about his musical tastes then, but I know when he was little he liked the Monkees just to piss his sisters off. And at one point he was really into funk. In the late 70s and early 80s he was into Johnny Thundrs and Souisxie and the Banshees. And he saw the Dead Kennedys at Illinoise University. Then he moved to Portland for a job. Eventually he became a chef at a restaurant in the Big Pink called Atwaters where my mom was a cook. Obviously they met and hooked up. And I'm assuming she got him into the punk scene here. This was 1984 I think.
My father claims he was at the Dead Kennedys show where they recorded Night of the Living Rednecks, I really have no fucking clue if this is true.
Anyway, my parents got married, conceived me, bought a house, and gave birth to me.
In my early years my musical taste was even more eclectic. I was really into the Cabaret soundtrack for a few months. And for about a year it was only AC/DC, only. I would not let anything else be played on our 8 track player (yeah we had an 8 track player in our car), but AC/DC. Then it was Ozzy and Black Sabbath. Ozzy dominated most of my early life. I was in love with that man. I wanted to have long hair like him, but I would always give up after an inch and get a buzzcut. Throw in some Batman and Power Rangers and thrift shopping wiht my mom and you have my childhood.
Elementary school was pretty uneventful, except i liked some good rap but listened to some terrible alternative rock. And eventually nu metal. God. Lets not talk about that. The only really notable thing to happen in middle school was my mom dying. Wait. thats really notable, I shouldn't downplay that. And her fight with cancer. Theres really not much to say about that. Which is really too bad. It didn't really affect me, but it destroyed everyone around me. It gave my father post traumatic stress disorder. For quite a few years we were very poor and he was a very big alcoholic. Times sucked.
Then I went on to Middle school and discovered punk...

First Post (WOOOOT WOOT)
I've just been sitting here all night listening to mostly post-punk and dream pop and goth and talking to ex-girlfriends and my friend's girlfriends. I'm not going to make this about my personal life, thats for myspace and livejournal. My life has become music. All I do is spend my time on message boards and wikipedia and metal archives searching for new music. Every night I'll download at least two albums, my collection of music is ever expanding. I feel like I have a problem. One man (or boy) should not have so much music on his computer. 70 GBs, 70, and I listen to a good 4o or so. Maybe I should stop, but it keeps my taste very eclectic and I can impress people with my eclecticism, which seems to happen just about everyday. Well. I I can't think of a way to end this. And I can't decide if I should keep going one. Its too late for me to think straight. Maybe I should do this when I am more awake and cognitive (is that the right tense? What ever...). Uh, the end?
