Paysage D'Hiver: Swiss atmospheric black metal
I heard this band for the first time tonight and I have to say and I am very very very impressed with them (er him). Incredibly raw and lo-fi, but as with most raw black metal it is incredibly atmospheric. As I was listening to the songs on his myspace I didn't even realise that 12 minutes had passed, but most atmospheric black metal has the same effect on me. And on the first album a violin is thrown in there (and not in a folky Korpiklaani way) for a great effect. Definitely reccomended for all who love black metal.
